Vegas Golden Knights vs. San Jose Sharks

NHL: 10:00 PM EST

TV: NBCSN
Latest Odds : SJ -110 Total 5.5

The Golden Knights have yet to seal the playoff series at home at all in their young history. The downside is with the way the Golden Knights played in the last game it should have been a slam dunk type of win for the team and it was not anything close to that as the Golden Knights were unable to do any scoring outside of the single goal they landed early on in the game. The Sharks, though, were able to battle through and force the game into a second overtime. Once the Sharks reached the second overtime period it was easy to see the Sharks were better conditioned as they were able to go quite a bit deeper in the game and stayed on top of the game.

Martin Jones in the double overtime win was amazing in the net. He was able to pick up a total of 58 saves out of the 59 shots that were sent his way. What was really impressive was the fact that Jones was able to overcome a lot of the losing ways that he had when he had been playing in Vegas to force the game 7 here.

Marc Andre-Fleury was able to play really well also. He stopped 27 shots, but he allowed 2 of the Sharks shots to get by him in the game. It was the last shot in the double overtime period after he had been on the ice for over an hour and a half that allowed the Sharks to pick up the win, but Fleury did not have much in the way of defensive support in the last shot.

The Sharks are looking good and primed for a great defensive battle in this game. However, Jones is going to be exhausted after facing a shot in what amounts to almost every forty seconds or so in the game. Look for the Sharks to come into the game looking for a home win, but with the way the Golden Knights keep the offensive pressure on Jones and company to bring home a win for Vegas to face the Avalanche. Final Sore, Vegas Golden Knights win 3-1.
