Boston Bruins vs. St. Louis Blues

NHL: 8:00 PM EST

Jun. 09, 2019

TV: NBC
Latest Odds : STL -115 O/U 5

The Boston Bruins play the St. Louis Blues on Sunday in Game 6 of their NHL Stanley Cups Finals best of seven series. The Blues lead the Bruins 3-2 and can win the Stanley Cup with a win at home on Sunday. Boston lost Game 5 on Thursday 3-2. A controversial no-call on what appeared to be a tripping penalty on St. Louis allowed play to continue and the Blues scored shortly thereafter to take a 2-0 lead.

St. Louis’ two goals in the win came off the sticks of Ryan O’Reilly and David Perron while in net Jordan Binnington was superb stopping 39 shots. A win on Sunday will give the Blues their first-ever Stanley Cup title and cap off a comeback from last place in the entire NHL during January to champions in less than six months.

The Bruins have top defensemen Zdeno Chara back in front of Tuukka Rask and his presence was felt by the Blues even though St. Louis was able to escape with a 2-1 win in Game 5. Boston hopes to have defenseman Matt Grzelcyk back from a concussion to help Chara. St. Louis will be without Ivan Barbashev who was suspended for one game due to a hit to the head of Boston’s Marcus Johansson. Take the Bruins to level the series and return home for Game 7. Final Score Prediction, Boston Bruins win 3-1
