San Francisco 49ers vs. Washington Redskins

NFL: 1 PM EST

Oct. 20, 2019

TV: FOX
Latest Odds : Niners -10 Total 41.5

The Washington Redskins did everything they could to lose last weeks game against the Dolphins and everyone saw that game as well and that is why the public is hitting the Niners here on the road laying this kind of huge number. Now more recently west coast teams traveling east and playing in the 1pm slot has not been a big deal but over the years it has for sure.

Add to that this is a perfect let down spot for the Niners here they have won 5 straight games including key wins over the Browns and the division rival Rams last week in an emotional road win now travel across the country to play a team very hard to get up for the Washington Redskins.

Jimmy Garoppolo who started off the season very slowly probably due to not playing the preseason has played better as the weeks have progressed so far this year he has 1163 yards passing on 102/146 passing 7 touch downs and 5 interceptions with a 95.2 rating. Matt Breida with Tevin Coleman out has established himself as the main running back running for 376 yards on 5.78 average.

George Kittle leads the team in receiving here with 338 yards but this team has been run first for sure and playing lights out defense has helped as well. Redskins have finally let go of Gruden and thought that would raise their play last week but it did not. Redskins are lead by Case Keenum who has better numbers then Jimmy G but does not seem to come up with the key pass when needed.

Recent Betting Trends:

49ers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 250 total yards in their previous game.

Redskins are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Under is 4-0 in 49ers last 4 games on grass.

Free Betting Pick: Redskins +9.5

Redskins have not been able to run the ball very well lead by Chris Thompson who only averages 3.43 yards per carry and really it is a committee approach in Washington that has been failing all year. Terry Mclaurin has been a pleasant surprise at receiver. Look for the Redskins to keep this game close simply by the Niners sleep walking through this game. Redskins cover and Niners win overall by the score of 17-13.
