Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams

NFL: 8:20 PM EST

Sep. 13, 2020

TV: NBC
Latest Odds : DAL -2.5 Total 52

The Cowboys are coming into the game here with a good offensive unit that has a lot of weapons. The question mark is if the weapons are going to come together on the field at the same time. The Cowboys have Dak Prescott back at quarterback. Last year Prescott threw for 4902 yards and 30 touchdowns with 11 picks. The Cowboys did add a new target for Prescott with CeeDee Lamb being picked up in the draft.

Defensively the Cowboys are coming in with a lot of question marks. The Cowboys have not really been able to play great defensively last year, but to make matter worse the Cowboys did not make a lot of moves in the off season to shore up the defense. Look for the defense for the Cowboys to be questioned quite a bit in the game here.

The Rams are coming into the game here with some good players on offense. However, the Rams are looking to play a good game offensively in the game here, but it could be questionable if they will have a run game or not as they are starting rookie Cam Akers at running back. Jared Goff is the quarterback for the Rams. He has thrown for 4638 yards and 22 touchdowns, but was picked off 16 times.

Defensively the Rams are going to move to a new system and have a first year coordinator at the helm in Brandon Staley. Staley does have a lot of changes to make as he is replacing Wade Phillips who has done amazing work for defenses the league over, but also will have to do it without a lot of practice time to get the systems in place.

Free Betting Pick: Dallas Cowboys -2.5

The Cowboys have question marks, but the players are mostly their and the Cowboys are not getting a completely new system to learn. The Rams for their part do have the players for the most part, but have a new system that is shifting from a 4-3 to a 3-4 system and have a lot of new formations to learn on the defensive side of the ball. Look for the confusion and delay on the defense of the Rams to allow Prescott and company to bring home a win for the Cowboys. Final Score, Dallas Cowboys win and cover 21-17.
