Cincinnati Bengals vs. Washington Redskins
NFL: 7:30 PM EST

The Bengals played the Chiefs in the opening week of the preseason. The good news is the Bengals were able to move the ball and get first downs. The downside is the Bengals defense was ripped apart and allowed 38 points to be scored. What else did not help is the Chiefs defense finally looked good and that could make it difficult for their opponents this year as the contained the Bengals to 17 points.
Ryan Finley was one of the main quarterbacks to lead the Bengals in this game. He went 13-18 with 109 yards, but he did get a touchdown and a pick in the game. Jordan Ellis was the leader for a dismal running attack for the Bengals with 3 carries, but only managed to get 11 yards.
Can the Redskins get their first win in the preseason? That depends if the offense decides to look at the field and play on it. The Redskins defense was only able to do so much and still allowed 30 points to be scored. The offense, though, did not come anywhere close to being consistent on the field with only 10 points being scored.
Dwayne Haskins, the Ohio State product, led the Redskins at quarterback. The downside is he did not look like he was at Ohio State anymore as he went 8-14 with 117 yards, but found the wrong jersey 2 times in the game. Craig Reynolds carried the ball 9 times for 21 yards in the game and did not get a score either.

Free Betting Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +4
The Redskins nor the Bengals have a good defense. However, one thing that stands out is the fact that the Bengals were playing against one of the top rated offenses from last year and that definitely makes a difference for the team. The Redskins offense also did not look crisp either and that will make it harder for the Redskins to be seen as a threat in this game. Final Score, Cincinnati Bengals win, but grab the points 17-10.
