Cincinnati Bengals vs. Seattle Seahawks

NFL: 4:05 PM EST

Sep. 08, 2019

TV: CBS
Latest Odds : SEA -9.5 Total 44.5

The Cincinnati Bengals are a team that will look for excuses to give to the fans this year as to why the team struggles this season. The Bengals looked horrible in the preseason and often is a team that was really pushed around on the year so far. Even in the game when the starters were on the field most of the game the Bengals were pushed around with only 23 points getting in the game against the Giants and a lot of those were by the backups.

Andy Dalton is the quarterback for the Bengals again this season, but for how much longer is starting to become a question in Cincinnati. The good news is the Bengals do have the backfield combination of Mixon and Bernard back this season as long as they are both able to stay healthy. A.J. Green is listed as doubtful and John Ross III is questionable, which removes most of the receiving talent the Bengals have. The front 4 of the Bengals is coming in as a good unit, but they may not get many sacks as the defensive backfield is missing Dre Kirkpatrick is already listed as questionable.

The Seahawks are looking impressive and have quite a bit of talent coming into this game here. However, the injuries could end up being an issue at some point for the Seahawks who are starting to look a little bit banged up, but the coaching of Carroll has taken that into account and will have decent backups compared to a lot of other teams.

Mike Iupati is a name that may not be common in most circles, but he is the starting left guard and while that position is not talked about much it is important to protect Wilson. Defensively the Seattle team is looking ready to go and strong, like they usually do. However, one player that is really fired up for the season is Shaquill Griffin and he has looked very impressive in his young career already.

Free Betting Pick: Seattle Seahawks -9.5

The Bengals have looked lost this year and it may have some fans wishing Marvin Lewis was back in the head coaching spot. However, what really has hurt the Bengals is the starters did not play well when facing the Giants team, a very weak team in most circles, in week 3 of the preseason. Look for those issues to continue in this game as the Seahawks are a lot better team than the Giants. Final Score, Seattle Seahawks win and cover ATS 28-14.
