Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Indianapolis Colts
NFL: 7:30 PM EST
Aug. 27, 2022
Latest Odds : IND -3 ; O/U 41.5
On Saturday the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana for the third and final game of the NFL preseason for both teams. Tampa Bay is 0-2 in the preseason following its 13-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Kyle Trask passed for 105 yards with one interception and Ke’Shawn Vaugh rushed for 54 yards.
Tom Brady was not in the Tampa Bay camp for several days but has returned and the future Hall-of-Famer is expected to see playing action on Saturday against Indianapolis. The Tampa Bay coaching staff will also be looking at their offensive line as several players are banged up with injuries and the Buccaneers must come up with a group of five that will best protect the veteran QB and also open up holes for the running game.
Indianapolis is also 0-2 in its preseason following an opening-game 27-24 loss to the Buffalo Bills followed last week by a 27-26 loss to the Detroit Lions. Indianapolis announced that it signed Matt Haack, the former punter for the Buffalo Bills, who will replace Rigoberto Sanchez who ruptured his Achilles earlier this week while running wind sprints. Rodrigo Blankenship will be the place kicker for the Colts.
Indianapolis starting quarterback Matt Ryan will see limited action on Saturday versus Tampa Bay and in all likelihood running back Jonathan Taylor will see little to no action as the Colts do not want to injure their most valuable offensive player. The Indianapolis starting defense will begin the game on the field but don't expect to see Shaquille Leonard, as it is not yet determined if the linebacker will be on the physically unable to perform list.

Although Tampa Bay starting quarterback Tom Brady will see action on Saturday his play will have little to no effect on the outcome as he will not play that many series in his first appearance. Indianapolis on the other hand will keep its starting offense on the field for an extended period and its defense will also see plenty of action. Indianapolis has covered the number in four the last six versus Tampa Bay and will do so at home this Saturday in the final game of the preseason. Final Score Prediction, Indianapolis Colts win and cover ATS 24-17.
