Atlanta Falcons vs. Houston Texans

NFL: 1:00 PM EST

Oct. 06, 2019

TV: FOX
Latest Odds : Texans -4 Total 50

Both these teams come in with bad records and are playing below expectations and for the Falcons that has become common place since blowing the super bowl to the Patriots a few years back. Falcons come in 1-3 off a brutal home loss to the Titans where they dropped that one 24-10. Falcons have lost 2 straight games.

Falcons biggest issue as far as I can tell besides the normal football injurys that occur is the play of Matt Ryan who has been slowly regressing this season and throws a ton of interceptions. Matt Ryan comes in with 8 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Devonta Freeman having a off year as well with just 157 yards rushing averaging 3.4 yard per tote.

Julio Jones has done what Julio does and that is produce while not out of this world production it has been solid getting 4 touchdowns one a game winner thus far. Texas come in just 2-2 and off a brutal home loss to the Panthers where back up QB Kyle Allen torched them.

Deshaun Watson has good numbers thus far this season getting 6 touchdowns and just 1 interception for the Texans its getting the ball in the redzone and actually scoring the football. One superstar who is not getting the ball is DeAndre Hopkins who is obviously frustrated with the situation of the Texans team but they are in a good spot on Sunday.

Recent Betting Trends:

Falcons are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 road games.

Falcons are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games in October.

Falcons are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games after accumulating more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.

Free Betting Pick: Texans -4

Texans should be able to get the run going early which should open up Hopkins and the passing attack of the Texans. This team plays with more heart then that Falcons team and has more talent on both sides of the ball. Look for JJ Watt to get to Matt Ryan and force turnovers. Texans win this game 24-10.
