Auburn closed out it's season with two losses to two of the best teams in College Football the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Auburn opened up the season with a gigantic win over the #6 Washington Huskies at a neutral site but since that win the Tigers season went drastically downhill.
Purdue finished the season 6-6 but they are a mediocre 6-6 team. Purdue had one really good win all year in a weak conference as they knocked off a very good Ohio State team 49-20 but after that game Purdue's season went down the drain just like the Tigers of Auburn.

Auburn has a different level of talent then Purdue but bettors early on are not seeing it that way as they are grabbing the points and Purdue which in my opinion is a huge mistake. Auburn hired a brand new offensive coordinator in Kenny Dillingham but the head coach of the Tigers Gus Malzahn will be calling the plays for their bowl game against Purdue.
This might be Gus's final shot in the 2019 season to take Auburn back to the promise land of knocking off Alabama but that new season I think will start in the bowl game against Purdue. Auburn had a stagnant offense all year only averaging 209 yards passing this season.

While many love the points in this one I see the deep deep talent of the Auburn Tigers coming to the top SEC and Auburn just get much better athletes then programs like Purdue and sometimes the obvious play is the best play. Overall the tough schedule will bode well for Auburn and expect players like Jarrett Stidham and JaTarvious Whitlow who lead the team in rushing with 777 yards 4 touch downs I expect a big game from these two as the Tigers put a beat down on Purdue and win and cover 35-6.
