Big time underdog but Pitt does take some momentum into their game with the 5th ranked Irish on Saturday. We have seen a few memorable Pitt Panther upsets at Notre Dame over the years but this years version has little chance of that happening.
The Irish are 6-0 right now and other then USC has a pathway to an easy undefeated season but they must win convincingly down the stretch to avoid playing Alabama in the first round.

Pitt got a win over Syracuse last week but I think a'lot of that had to do with Syracuse huge almost win over #2 Clemson at the time I think the air had come out of Syracuse but you will see none of that from the Irish on Saturday.
No defense has managed to stop the Irish and I don't see that being Pitt this weekend. Since Ian Book has gone in at quarter back Notre Dame has took off scoring 46.3 points per game and he became the first signal caller since 1950 to complete atleast 70% of his passes.

All in all the Irish need to win and win big and they look like a finely tuned sports car out there I don't expect Brian Kelly to take his foot off the pedal in this one as the more points he can win by the better it is for the Irish. Bet on the Notre Dame to cover the spread and win this one 49-6.
