What a super set of games on Saturday between LSU and Alabama and Penn State at Minnesota. I have been waiting for Penn State to choke all season long and it just has not happened but then again the only good team they have played this season was Michigan and they played them in happy valley. I guess you could put Pitt into the good teams category but beyond that Penn State has played next to no one.
That will all change on Saturday when they visit TCF Bank Stadium to play an undefeated Gophers team that has the same stigma if not worse attached to their undefeated mark as well. Minnesota fans have not had a home game like this that meant so much in quite some time so the stadium will be rocking. Minnesota is coming off a big blowout win over Maryland who started off good but has faded fast.

Minnesota has tried to turn heads in recent weeks as they have blown out Illinois,Nebraska,Rutgers and just last week Maryland as they look to impress the voters and if they happen to beat Penn State then this team would sling shot into the top 6 teams in the country I would think.
Minnesota would then close out with Iowa,Northwestern and Wisconsin no push overs but I do see the Gophers getting to atleast 10 wins. Penn State comes in after last week avoiding a letdown at Michigan State as they blew them out 28-7 in a dominant effort and in the week prior they did what it took to beat Michigan a quality win for sure. James Franklin has been coaching his team up all week in preparation for Saturday’s huge game.
