Minnesota also has had a Cinderella type year they finished 10-2 but started off the season winning its first 9 games including a very good Penn State team taking them out 31-26. The next week though they suffered a letdown and lost on the road at a good Iowa team then followed it up with a loss to Wisconsin ending their dreams of a big bowl game but landing them in one hell of a game in the Outback Bowl.

Both teams enter this bowl game with new offensive coordinators in this game taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida. Chad Morris will take over for Kenny Dillingham as offensive coordinator for the Auburn Tigers. Matt Simon will take over the play calling duties for the Gophers for the big bowl game Wednesday.
