Do the Blue Raiders have a quarterback issue? That is a common question that is going through Floyd Stadium this year. The Blue Raiders have to replace four year starter Brent Stockstill and it will be more of a challenge than what the fans expect and the starter most likely will not be announced until before the game. Michigan is going to expect big things from Shea Patterson this year. However, the looming story in Michigan is not the quarterback who is coming back for his senior year in the pro-style attack. Instead, the big story is if Jim Harbaugh will be able to stay off of the hot seat and that definitely has to be weighing on his mind since the last time Michigan played a decent school in what should be a gimme game they lost to Appalachian State.
The defense of the Wolverines was among the tops in the nation all last year. However, the defense is coming back into this game with only 5 starters coming back and they did lose Devin Bush Jr. who jumped to the pros this year. Look for that to be a problem for the Wolverines in this game as Bush Jr. was such a large part of the offense and could be one the Wolverines are going to struggle to overcome.
