On Thursday August 29, the Florida International Golden Panthers visit Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana to play the Tulane Green Wave in the opening game of the 2019 college football regular season for both. FIU is coming off a 9-4 season where the Golden Panthers were 4-3 at home and 5-1 on the road. FIU’s strengths in 2019 will be its head coach Butch Davis and talented quarterback James Morgan.
Tulane has a top quality head coach in Willie Fritz, who is steadily turning the Green Wave football program around in the right direction.
