Ohio State is always good and always produces top level talent for the NFL. Last year the Buckeyes fell just short of their goal and that was due to early season loss to a very good Oklahoma Sooners team and then later to a Iowa squad that really took them out of any playoff talk. But in true Ohio State fashion under one of the best college coaches active the Buckeyes came back beat Michigan,Michigan State and then took apart a talented USC team in the Rose Bowl.

Ohio State comes in as the 3rd favorite to win the nation title behind teams like Clemson and Alabama. Clemson has such a weak schedule that Ohio State has a great investment opportunity at +750 which like happened a few years back Ohio State could easily knock off either Alabama or Clemson. Ohio State won 10 games last season and this years win total is set at 10.5 and to bet the over you will have to lay juice around -120.

Ohio State gets a passing upgrade at quarterback this season in the form of Dwayne Haskins although this will be Dwayne's first time starting he has a tremendous amount of talent.

The backbone of Ohio State just like Penn State is their defense and this year they will be again rock solid. The Buckeyes are lead by a great pass rushing duo of Chase Young and Nick Boca.

Now on too their schedule which is tougher then Penn States as Ohio State actually plays a tough out of conference game in the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU is projected to have a down year off their 10 win season but they are always tough and well coached especially on the road which is where this game is. Luckily their toughest game this season will be at home when they square off with hated Michigan. They play Michigan State and Penn State on the road this year.

Now do I think Ohio State will finish over the number? I think they will go 11-1 this season losing at Michigan State so yes bet a 9 unit investment on the over and I think it will payoff nicely.
