On Monday, the Golden State Warriors visit the Houston Rockets for Game 4 of their NBA Western Conference semifinals best of seven series. Golden State’s lead was narrowed to 2-1 in the series after Houston beat the Warriors in overtime 126-121 in Game 3 on Saturday. Kevin Durant paced the Warriors in the loss with 46 points, but Stephen Curry’s shooting woes continued as he scored just 17 points hitting 7-for-23.

Houston was led by James Harden with 41 points, while Eric Gordon scored 30. Harden led Houston despite problems with both eyes from an injury that occurred early in Game 2. Houston squandered a third quarter lead of 12 points after Golden State went on a 15-2 run at the last part of the third quarter and into the fourth quarter. From that point on, the score was close the rest of the way.

Houston narrowed the lead of Golden State to 2-1, but did so in part because of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson shooting poorly for the Warriors. Kevin Durant continues to prove he is the NBA’s best all-round player and Curry and Thompson will bounce back from poor performances to help Durant and Company take a 3-1 lead in the series on Monday. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win and cover ATS 112-109
