Golden State Warriors vs. Toronto Raptors

NBA: 9:00 PM EST

Jun. 10, 2019

TV: abc
Latest Odds : TOR -2.5 Total 213.5

The Golden State Warriors head north of the border on Monday to play Game 5 of the NBA Finals best of seven series against the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors lead the series 3-1 after defeating Golden State 105-92 in Game 4. The return of Klay Thompson was not enough for the Warriors to overcome not having high scorer Kevin Durant. Thompson scored 28 points in the loss after missing Game 3 with a hamstring injury, while Stephen Curry scored 27.

Toronto’s Kawhi Leonard came out strong after halftime hitting key shots during the third quarter and ended the game with 36 points and 12 boards. The Raptors trailed at the half 46-42, but outscored Golden State in the third quarter 37-21 to take a 12-point lead into the final quarter. Serge Ibaka added 20 points in 22 minutes of action. A win on Monday would give Toronto and all of Canada its first NBA title.

Kevin Durant is questionable for Monday’s game, but do not be surprised to see the Warriors’ high scorer in uniform. Nonetheless, this series is Toronto’s to win and the Raptors will see that happens. Kawhi Leonard has proven his worth averaging 31.1 points during the postseason and will carry the Raptors to a Game 5 win and a first-ever NBA Title for a team north of the border. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Raptors win and cover ATS 115-109
