The San Antonio Spurs head to Mile High City on Tuesday to play the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of their NBA Western Conference first round best of seven series. The Spurs lost to Denver on Saturday 117-103 which evened the series at 2-2. Spurs high-scorer DeMar DeRozan was ejected from the game during the fourth quarter for throwing a ball at one of the referees.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets in the win with 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Jamal Murray chipped in with 24 point. The win was Denver’s first in San Antonio since 2012 and the first playoff win for Denver in San Antonio since 2007. Denver opted to play more physical and aggressive in Game 4 following a loss in Game 3 which turned out to by a big advantage against San Antonio.

DeMar DeRozan leads San Antonio in scoring and assists in the postseason with averages of 23.2 points and 4.5 assists per game. LaMarcus Aldridge is the second leading scorer and leading rebounder with averages of 20.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Derrick White and Bryn Forbes are the only two other Spurs scoring in double figures.
