Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Utah Jazz

NBA: 9:00 PM EST

Oct. 23, 2019

TV: FSOK
Latest Odds : UTA -9 Total 223

Oklahoma City did not really have the strong show in the preseason. The wins for the Thunder was against the Mavericks, who they lost to later on, but also over the New Zealand Breakers. The game against the Grizzlies, who are a good team on the year and should be coming in fairly strong this year was a high scoring loss.

Chris Paul is coming into the game here with the strong showing in the past. He does have quite a bit of support to help them out, but that is going to really be a problem that the Thunder with their support they have is not the greatest players in the league.

The Jazz only managed to get a single win in the preseason. That normally does not reflect how the team will do in the regular season. That is going to really show up in this game as the Jazz did tend to rest their starters and that could be a great help for the Jazz as they are heading into this game here.

Rudy Gobert is the starting center in most like cases for the Jazz and he has been able to play decent for the his teams in the past. What else helps the Jazz out in this game is they do not really have the big name players that stand out and would have the ego issues that some of the other teams would have.

The Jazz did not play great in the preseason, but that could stem from the fact the Jazz were using their backups and untested talent to see how they would be able to play in the system. The Thunder, though are coming into the game with Chris Paul to lead the team and not much in the way of a big name to help support him. However, he does not need to have a supporting cast in this game here. Final Score, Oklahoma City Thunder win 122-110.
