Golden State Warriors vs. Philadelphia 76ers

NBA: 7:00 PM EST

Jan. 28, 2020

TV: TNT
Latest Odds : Sixers -11.5

When the schedule for national T.V. Games were put out this was one of those games that people looked forward too but now it features a Sixers team with no Embiid and a Warriors team that is skeleton of past championships teams as Golden State has been ravaged by injury’s and free agency. Golden State comes in chasing the number one draft pick as their is no doubt this teams goal from a franchise standpoint but the players who are getting playing time will still be going all out.

One of those cast off players for the Warriors is D’Angelo Russell the former top pick by the LA Lakers in 2015 once the second overall pick is finally coming back into his own in the NBA averaging 23.9 points per game with 6.3 assists and close to 4 rebounds. It also helps that the Warriors do not have a ton of options on the offensive side of the ball.

Sixers have been lights out SU at home as they will be looking to go to 22-2 after a big home win over the Lakers last time out on their home court. Look for Tobias Harris to step in a bit in the scoring department as he showed up big time in the Sixers last game scoring 29 points but the star of that game was clearly Ben Simmons who had 28 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists and came close to his customary triple double.

Sixers have been without Joel Embiid for 9 game but this is one of those games that they should easily be able to get the win with or without their all-star. Sixers will look to bring the same intensity they brought the the Lakers contest where they were defensively dominant. Sixers had 12 steals in the game bringing their record to 8-0 when getting at minimum of 12 steals.

Warriors are just in a funk and that will not change on Tuesday night this team has lost 13 of their last 14 games but are 5-5 ATS last 10 that just proves even the bad teams cover from time to time. Sixers just have to much talent and desire in this game and will easily get the cover. Look for the Philadelphia 76ers to be up 21-25 at the half and carry that momentum on until the final buzzer. Sixers win this game 125-102.
