I picked the Astros at the start of the season to win the world series and they clearly out of the gate have been the best team in baseball. Boston has not been much of a problem for the Astros who have just been better on the mound and at the plate.
One of those gigantic mismatches happen again on Sunday as one of the best pitchers in baseball in Justin Verlander takes the mound he is 8-1 with a 2.24 ERA this guy is headed for a start in the mid summer classic if he keeps this up. Verlander has 89 strike outs to just 17 walks.

Last start for Verlander he went 8 innings giving up just 1 hit and 1 run a masterful outing. In fact his last 22 innings he has given up just 2 runs and 4 hits. Look for him to keep it going on Sunday against a good hitting Rd Sox lineup that has cooled off as of late.
Some temptation to take the under here but lets remind ourselves who is on the mound for Boston. Eduardo Rodriguez is 4-3 but has a high 5.43 ERA and that really matches what most Red Sox starters have done this season. Last start for Eduardo he went 5 innings and allowed 6 runs and that was to the Blue Jays.
